Are you a newcomer to the digital world of computers and online activities? You may be confused by detailed  instructions and advice which can be difficult to follow. If this is the case, I will check what existing skills you have, regardless of your background, find out what you would like to be able to do on your computer, and provide you with simple, personalised learning and reference sheets to help you get started.

On the other hand, you may have some computer knowledge, but need to develop your skills into new areas such as word-processing, spreadsheets, database, email, graphics, desktop publishing, or web design. I can provide you with a tailored programme, along with individually designed reference sheets.

You can contact the Computer Tutor by phone or email to arrange a free consultation. There is no obligation to continue unless you wish. Once we have agreed a programme of tuition, I will give you one or more lessons with relevant typed handouts which you can keep for future reference.  I will also be contactable by phone if you get stuck, or need further help.

Your first appointment will be free. After that you can have as few or as many lessons as you need. The lessons will last 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or 1 hour. You can check the rates on the tuition page of this site.

I will not charge for travel if you live in or near Congleton. If you live further afield, reasonable petrol expenses will be added.
